Mayor Michell Wu, Massachusetts Education Commissioner Jeff Riley, and other city, state and school officials sign an agreement on a plan to avoid labeling the district as underperforming and assigning a state monitor to oversee it. The plan involves addressing such areas as special education, English learning, transportation, student safety, facilities, data collection, equity, and accountability.
